Lucky John 3D Slick Shad-V is a slender fluke-style soft lure finished with a forked V-tail. Unlike a conventional paddle-tail shad, it does not produce a strong, regular action during a steady retrieve. Its movement is created mainly by the angler through rod-tip movements and changes in line tension.
The V-tail responds to short lifts, subtle twitches and slack-line changes. This allows Slick Shad-V to be presented slowly in one area or worked more actively with irregular darts that imitate an injured or escaping baitfish.
The lure is particularly well suited to drop shot rigs, where it remains separated from the weight and can be held at a selected depth for an extended period. Small rod-tip movements are enough to animate the body and forked tail without moving the entire rig far from the target area.
Slick Shad-V can also be mounted on a jig head and worked with lifts followed by short pauses. Its slender body and lack of a large paddle tail create a more restrained presentation than a classic shad, which can be useful when predators are cautious or focused on narrow baitfish...

The range includes two sizes. The 127 mm (5 in) version is the more versatile option and works well with lighter tackle, while the 178 mm (7 in) model creates a larger profile in the water and suits presentations aimed at bigger predators. The smaller size is supplied in packs of 5, while the larger version comes in packs of 3.
During the retrieve, it is worth varying the length of the lifts and the duration of the pauses. Short twitches suit slow, controlled presentations, while stronger rod movements make the body dart more widely and help cover the chosen depth range more efficiently.
Lucky John 3D Slick Shad-V is available in several colour patterns that can be selected according to water clarity, light conditions and the size of the natural prey present in the fishing area.
