At 1.1mm thick, they offer 99% polarization and 100% protection against UVA / UVB (CAT 3), while reducing dazzle and reflections. TAC or cellulose triacetate is one of the best materials in terms of light transmission and optical stability. That is why it is the most popular material to manufacture polarized lenses.
