Classic Scandi Body

Besides being much improved in casting abilities, the density shift has been adjusted to give you a much better sinking effect. With a smooth and softer coating, with almost no memory, the line has a fantastic balance while flying through the air, and fishes truly amazing. Together with our huge variety of tips you can literally “build” your own dream line.

For a long time, we have been market leading in the development of multi tip shooting heads and with the brand new Classic Scandi we feel that we have yet taken a big step forward. The new Classic Scandi is based on the previous 4D, but with a rather big change in tapers. The improved taper design and weight distribution makes these lines much easier to lift out of the water. They shoot with such high energy that it almost feels like it is going to get loose from the running line! When you setup your D-loop for a Spey cast, you will instantly feel how the line almost speaks to you. With the new taper, it is extremely clear when the weight of the line aligns with the rod. This will help you keep a much better line tension which will then help you as you move into your forward cast.

The smooth and softer coating gives the line great stability in the loop whilst casting, and with almost no memory the line will keep completely straight in the water without coiling. With the new coating, we have also adjusted in the density splits in the lines, giving you a much better sinking effect with a larger portion of the higher density in the line than before. Together with our guided chart with tips, you can get a lot of different setups that will work beautifully for different situations and basically create your own perfect line! Whether you need a light versatile line for smaller rivers or a big sinking line for those heavy rods, the Classic Scandi multi tip bodies together with our tips will give you endless of varieties!

TIP! Depending on what your personal preference is regarding total weight and length, you can match these bodies with tips from both our 4D and 4D Compact tip range. Please see recommended tip lengths and weights in our size guide!
