Shimano Flat Baku Baku is a saltwater Kabura-style lure from the Tai Rubber jig family. Its sliding construction allows the head to move independently from the hook rig and silicone skirt, while the distinctive flat profile gives the lure an active movement during the fall. Slow fall with a fluttering head action The flat head of the Flat Baku Baku rocks and moves from side to side as it sinks, creating a flashing, fluttering action from the moment the lure starts to fall. Its shape and weight distribution slow the descent compared with more compact jigs, keeping the lure in the strike zone for longer. The silicone skirt remains active during both the fall and retrieve, adding extra movement to the head action. The large opening through the front of the head allows the leader to change position as the lure drops or rises, helping the complete rig move freely.
